Gryffindor.

I recently learned how to crochet and I made this scarf for my sister as a Christmas gift. This yarn I found at Jo-Ann fabrics was the perfect thing because it is the house colors of Gryffindor in Harry Potter. I Chained 20 and then did a double crochet for the whole thing.

For Christmas I wanted to make my sister something special so I got the idea to make ornaments. I made two, I used plastic ornaments from Jo-Ann Fabrics for both of them. These ones are especially nice because the top comes off, allowing me to put stuff inside. Which is exactly what I did. For the first one I cut her wedding invitation into strips then curled each piece by wrapping it around a pen. I finished it off with a ribbon, also from their invitations.

The second ornament I filled with dried flowers from my bouquet because hers didn't get saved. On the front I wrote their wedding date with a black sharpie. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of this before giving it to them.
